Roka released a brand new sunglass style, and we think it’s the best-looking yet. The Oslo may look super stylish, but because they’re made from the same performance materials as Roka’s more sporty models, they work for activities outside like running, biking and hiking. The name and round frames nod to their Scandinavian style.
Depending on your environment (lots of glare, super sunny conditions, a heavy amount of green trees) Roka makes five lenses that sharpen and add contrast to the road or trail. Made from nylon, each lens is treated with an anti-scratch, -fog and -reflective coating, so your field of vision is clear. The Oslo weighs less than an ounce, is sweat- and chemical-resistant and won’t slide off your face even in 100 degrees of Arizona heat, or a late summer day in humid New York City because of geko fit, the super sticky, yet featherlight nodes along the arms of the glasses. I have a pair of the Austin collection prescription glasses from Roka, which also feature the nose and temple pads so whether I take them for a run or walk in the snow, they never move. These sunglasses are available today for $150 at Roka.com.
