Fast fashion usually refers to overcrowded mall racks, algorithm-driven design choices and prices so low you wonder about the ethics of it all.

The Adizero Adios Pro 4 Satisfy is the pair’s first-ever collaboration, kicking off a multi-season partnership that reimagines Adidas’s innovative performance tech through the lens of Satisfy’s “disruptive cultural perspective,” according to the two brands.

“Together, we are creating a new aesthetic language for running,” says Stephan Scholten, the global vice president of product at Adidas.

“Running culture is evolving, and we believe the creative tension between our two perspectives can inspire new ways of experiencing the sport.”

Street style

For their first go-around, the two brands remixed the fan-favorite Adizero Adios Pro 4, a shoe that borrows top-shelf tech from the record-shattering Adios Pro Evo line.

Available in three variants reminiscent of Satisfy’s collaboration with Hoka in 2024 — “Army Green,” “Earth Brown” and “Core Black” — the limited-edition Adizero Adios Pro 4 features an asymmetric color fade inspired by mismatched shoes as commonly found in skate culture.

It also features cobranded detailing throughout, including the Satisfy logo on top Adidas’s three-stripe motif and the Satisfy mantra “stay possessed” hidden underneath each heel tab.

Materially, the model features all the familiar tech that has made it one of the most trusted silhouettes for both elite and recreational runners: a full-length Lightstrike Pro midsole, lightweight upper, sawtooth laces and carbon-fiber rods that bring propulsion and stability to each stride.

Only in the case of the latter, the so-called Energy Rods 2.0 come in a Mad Max-style chrome borrowed from off-road buggies (a symbol that features heavily throughout Satisfy’s design language).
