11 New Backpacks, Duffles, Slings and EDC Hauler Releases You May Have Missed

This limited-edition collaboration between Matador and Carryology is one of the most well-equipped, unique backpacks to release this year. The Redeye 24 Red edition is built using a PFAS-free, VX21 Dimension-Polyant 4-layer laminated composite, while the Black edition is constructed using PFAS-free 420D nylon oxford with a PU coating and washed finish. Both colorways include 100D Bluesign recycled nylon ripstop liners, PU coatings, 70D Bluesign Spandura stretch mesh, #10 and #8 YKK zippers and aluminum and HDPE internal frame components.

The Classic Backpack Third Edition is a fresh take on a respected Bellroy mainstay, bridging the gap between heritage and modern styling. Bellroy’s new take on a popular style includes a recycled, air-texturized polyester that mimics cotton’s warmth and softness but adds in the durability of synthetic fabric. Updates don’t stop there: the backpack also features a vertical front admin pocket, 16-inch padded laptop sleeve with integrated document slip, a contoured back panel and a horizontal luggage pass-through.

Pelican’s award-winning hard-sided luggage gets a vibrant, limited-edition reissue with some sneaky benefits. These include a polycarbonate shell, integrated combination locks on their latches (which are TSA-compliant,) as well as telescoping handles (which sit flush against the bags’ back, so no awkward rail bumps) and 360-degree rotating, easy-glide wheels. The interior of both the 22-inch and 30-inch luggage include handy compression straps, zippered mesh pouches and more.

The 2-pound, 9-ounce Civic Daily Tote 24L features an exterior shell that is constructed from a custom-developed ballistic woven 840D Nylon 6 with DWR coating. At least 70 percent recycled content is used in the Allt’s main fabrics, complemented by a 100 percent recycled liner and mesh made with at least 75 percent recycled content.

The 20-liter version of the new Osprey x Houdini sustainable pack collaboration features a roll-top external closure, lightweight and waterproof Dimension Polyant RX36 face fabric, quick-drying and breathable design, a multi-use internal compartment, deployable cinch closures and modular carry options for skis, a snowboard or technical gear.

Norda’s latest update to its massive 70-liter duffel, the Toolbox, comes in the form of a new colorway, which helps disguise scuffs and marks — and hides a groundbreaking material development. The duffel’s custom “Cinder” color is applied to Dyneema fabric, which is notoriously hard to dye, due to its unique chemical structure and tensile strength. Due to that complication, the bag is is only available in very limited quantities, underscoring its rarity — and helping to explain its high price.

Filson’s latest travel bag co-opts the classic Mackinaw Wool Cruiser‘s heavy-duty wool exterior for a duffel that’s high on style, heritage and time-tested ruggedness. The duffle features the same 24-ounce wool found in the famous outerwear, plus notable features like the use of Pennsylvania’s Wickett & Craig bridle leather across the design and a shoulder strap that is detachable via brass hardware.

The lightest and speediest bag to be included in the new Dsptch drop is the Unit Sling Bag RND Edition X-Pac X50 Light Army, which boasts a merging of utility and ease of carry. Built with 6.0 liters of storage, it also has a built-in V-Buckle strap and a quick-release shoulder strap like the Weekender.
