Nike Just Slapped Genuine Realtree Camo on the Last Shoe You’d Ever Expect

At this point, Realtree is starting to blend in again.

Popping up on coolers, Crocs, everyday menswear and, get this, Waffle House merch, the most famous camo on earth has seemingly canvassed every industry beyond the one it was made for.

Even still, it just showed up in one of the last places you’d ever expect to see it: the Nike Vomero Premium.

A happy blend

Released this year as Nike’s ultraplush answer to Hoka hype, the Vomero Premium boasts 55mm of ZoomX foam and Air Zoom units underfoot.

That makes it the brand’s tallest running shoe ever (and well outside the limits set by World Athletics for competition), and at $230, among its most expensive.

But Nike couldn’t be more clear about its purpose: the Vomero Premium is “made for the long miles of daily training,” it says.

The addition of Realtree Edge around the midsole pushes the luxe running shoe into genuine lifestyle territory, a fact complimented by the design’s stealthy all-black upper with monochromatic detailing.

So this is what quiet luxury looks like in 2025.

That said, the pattern does somewhat work as intended, unlike many of the camo-covered items you see nowadays, subduing the larger-than-life platform of the Vomero Premium.

It looks like Realtree does work, after all.

Availability and pricing

The Nike Vomero Premium “Realtree” is expected to release in the coming months and cost $230 — the same price as other variants available to date.
