Fans of Carhartt know that as comfortable and durable as its workwear may be, the brand’s threads are not exactly suited to life’s more formal events.

Lucky for Carhartt aficionados who also enjoy the finer things in life, Carhartt WIP, the European-born, fashion-centered sister brand to America’s favorite workwear manufacturer, just released a new blazer hybrid that’s equal parts classy and capable.

Class and capability

The Brader Blazer blends the practical material and build of a classic chore coat with the thoughtful tailoring of a casual blazer. The result is an easy-wearing outerwear layer that can transition from day to night without missing a beat.

Constructed with an unlined, mid-weight 100-percent cotton ‘Cooper’ 9.3-ounce twill, the loose-fit jacket comes in two neutral color options: “Leather,” which is a classic Carhartt tan, and Black.
