Junghans Releases Two Affordable, Minimalist Watches

Easy on the eyes (and the wallet).

Bauhaus-influenced watch brand Junghans just unveiled a new line of minimalist watches. Called the “Form” series, the line consists of two new models: the Form A and the Form C. The former is an automatic (hence the “A”), utilizing Junghans’s J800.2 caliber (based on the ETA 2824). At 39.1mm in diameter and only 9.5mm thick, it’s perfectly proportioned and features a clean, concave dial with hands coated in Super Luminova. Similarly, the Form C boasts a quartz chronograph movement inside and is only 40mm in diameter and 10.5mm thick. Both watches are available with white dials, arabic numerals or embossed indices, and a choice of black, tan or navy leather straps. They’re all available now, with the quartz chronograph retailing for $494 and the automatic for $924.
