Regular GP readers are likely already familiar with Bravur, a small indie brand making watches with a Scandinavian design sense out of Stockholm, Sweden. The attractive mix of traditional and sporty elements on the BW003 model has led to its popularity, and the brand has continued to release new variations over the past few years. In its latest iterations, the BW003 gets both new case and dial treatments.

The watch’s 39mm-wide steel case is now offered with a gold PVD coating and four different dial color options, including “jet” black, silver, “midnight” blue and “bottle” green. The movement and other specs remain the same as those of previous BW003 models, with the automatic Sellita SW 300-1 helping to keep the case nice and slim — even considering the very retro-feeling domed sapphire crystal.

The new gold PVD versions of the Bravur BW003 command a slight premium of about $80 over the the uncoated steel iterations. Available directly from the brand and built on order, the new gold-toned Bravur BW003 watches each have a price of $1,275.
