Whether you’re a musician, director or watchmaker, the only thing more challenging than creating a breakthrough hit is crafting the follow-up.
Just over a year ago, in October of 2024, Echo/Neutra’s Rivanera became one of the most hyped dress watches under $2,000. Despite the pressure inescapably linked to such success, the Italian boutique brand not only delivered on the sequel but also topped the original.

Echo/Neutra has only been around since 2018, but it has already established a signature design language — a blend of classical design and modern architecture in a monotone color palette — and launched a true flagship watch.
Now, a new variation of the Rivanera, aptly named Piccolo for its downsized case, looks so good that it could elevate the brand to the top of the indie watch scene.
It retains the same case design, although shortened by 7mm lug-to-lug, and doubles down on the dial’s minimalism.
