Although they’re far from practical when it comes to reading the time, entirely blacked-out watches — those with not only black cases and dials but also black hands, indices and markings — still have strong appeal thanks to their ultracool, stealthy looks.
Models like Omega’s Seamaster Black Black and Speedmaster Dark Side of the Moon, Norqain’s Wild One All Black and Bell & Ross’s BR-03 Phantom are currently the stealthiest watches on the market, but Hublot — which pioneered all-black watches back in 2006 — has found a way to make an entirely blacked-out watch even stealthier.
The secret? Just add camo.

Hublot’s new watch is a version of its Classic Fusion, the brand’s surprisingly minimalist entry-level sports watch. It’s also a collab between the Swiss brand and Japanese fashion designer Yohji Yamamoto, their fourth project together.
Previous efforts from the two brands included the murdered-out Big Bang GMT All Black and the green-and-black camouflaged Hublot Big Bang Camo, both released in 2020. But the new watch, the Classic Fusion Yohji Yamamoto All Black Camo, is their first to incorporate a black camo pattern.
