It’s about … time (sorry).

As far as tool watches are concerned, there’s very little the Micromilspec Milgraph can’t do.

Debuting in 2024 as the Norwegian brand’s first major publicly available watch, the Milgraph was originally developed for Special Ops Forces and was the culmination of over 40 custom military watches Micromilspec had produced.

It combines a lightweight, microblasted Grade 5 titanium case with a left-hand crown to reduce wrist injuries and a “quad-grip” timing bezel featuring four deep indents to make it easier to turn while wearing gloves. Its automatic La Joux-Perret movement combines a chronograph with a GMT function, making it a highly versatile timing tool, and its 200m water resistance and abundance of Super-LumiNova make it usable in practically all conditions.

Despite all that, there was one classic tool-watch feature missing from the Milgraph: You couldn’t get one on a bracelet, as an integrated rubber strap was the watch’s only option.

Now, Micromilspec has corrected this oversight with the new Milgraph T5, which not only comes standard on a Grade 5 titanium bracelet but also rolls out the option to the rest of the Milgraph line.

Brace(let) for impact

The new bracelet is a perfect match for the Milgraph’s angular, aggressive styling. It’s a flat, H-link bracelet in an integrated style that meshes well with the watch’s octagonal, sports watch-inspired case. The bracelet does appear to have a taper, though Micromilspec makes no mention of it, and it’s secured with a dual push-button butterfly clasp.

The clasp appears to be the type where you can close it from either side, and both sides are signed — one says “Micromilspec” and the other feature’s the brand’s logo. There’s no microadjustment, though I suspect the brand could look at adding that functionality in future iterations.

As for the T5 itself, it draws stylistic inspiration from the brand’s monochromatic Field Testing Units and comes across as a cleaner, sharper version of the Milgraph. Its case and bracelet are both satin-brushed rather than microblasted, and both feature chamfers running down the side.

The T5 is also available with a black dial, and you can get either color on one of three rubber straps instead of the bracelet.

There are two dial colors for the T5, both of which feature sunray brushing and red accents for the GMT hand, chronograph seconds hand and Milgraph wordmark. The first is a chrome dial with black printing, which most resembles the Field Testing Unit. The other is a black dial with white printing, which is easily the more legible of the two and might be the most legible Milgraph yet.

All other specs remain the same between the T5 and Milgraph, with a 42 x 15mm Grade 5 titanium case, destro crown flanked by crown guards, sapphire crystal, 200m water resistance and the La Joux-Perret Cal. LJP L121 automatic movement beating at 4Hz while providing 60 hours of power and a standard deviation of just +/- 4 seconds per day.

Let’s face it, the Milgraph’s integrated case design was always calling for a bracelet.

Availability and pricing

On the bracelet, the new Micromilspec T5 is priced at $4,650. If you just like the look of the watch and don’t care about the bracelet, both the chrome and black versions can also be purchased on a black, red or white rubber strap for $3,950. The T5 is a limited annual release, with this year’s production set at just 35 pieces.

With the launch of the T5, Micromilspec has also rolled out the same bracelet – in a microblasted finish — to the rest of the Milgraph line. Prices are identical to the T5.
