Yeti has been inching toward a fully stocked ceramic-lined Rambler product line for a couple of years now.
The brand introduced its Durasip ceramic lining on smaller vessels first, creating what’s now a Durasip ceramic collection that spans small stackable cups, pitchers, a French press, a wine tumbler, and, most importantly, 10- and 14-oz. cups. mugs suitable for a decent-sized first cup.
But anyone who brews a full pot in the morning and wants it to stay tasting clean has been waiting for something bigger — and with the new Yeti Rambler 24oz Mug With Durasip Ceramic Lining, Yeti’s finally answered the call.
A bigger mug for long days

At 24oz, this is the largest mug Yeti has fitted with the Durasip ceramic lining — a coating designed to keep your coffee tasting like coffee rather than like the steel walls of a thermos.
That matters more than people give it credit for. Metal interiors can impart a faint metallic flavor over time, especially with acidic drinks like black coffee. The special ceramic barrier eliminates that contact, which is exactly why we were enthusiastic about Yeti’s earlier Durasip mugs when they first appeared.
Scaling the lining up to 24oz without compromising it is a real win for anyone who’d like to take more of their morning pot with them and keep it hot and tasty throughout the majority of the workday.

And in case you’re wondering, yes, this mug is still dishwasher safe, just like the rest of Yeti’s Rambler lineup.
There is one obvious question mark about the new mug worth flagging, though: handle ergonomics.
A 24-oz mug filled to capacity gets heavy, and how well the handle distributes that weight is something only extended use will fully answer. There’s also concern that a handle that large might not fit most car cup holders.
It’s the potential Achilles heel of an otherwise long-awaited upgrade, which is why we’d love to see a version of this mug without a dedicated handle released sometime in the future.
