The Kodak EC35 is the most affordable Kodak-branded 35mm film camera. It’s positioned as an even more affordable option than the brand’s $99 Snapic A1, which was released in late 2025. The EC35 packs a 25mm lens with a fixed f/10 aperture and fixed 1/100 second shutter speed. It features a slide cover for protecting the lens, as well as a built-in flash (AA batteries required). And it takes Kodak Ultramax 400 film (sold separately). Obviously, the Kodak EC35 is designed for those who want to take their first stab at shooting 35mm without breaking the bank. The EC35 comes in seven fun colors.

Samsung has been by far and away the industry leader when it comes to foldable smartphones. It’s been making them longer, with more variety, than any other Android smartphone manufacturer. Now, Samsung has released the latest generation of its folio and clamshell-style foldables, most of which look like iterative updates. However, the Galaxy Z Fold 8 flips the script by having a brand-new “square” or “wide” folio design. It’s notable because it is the same size/form factor as Apple’s rumored foldable iPhone (expected to launch in September). The 5.5-inch cover display should provide a better content-watching (and messaging) experience without requiring you to open it to its larger 7.6-inch display, which should still be used for multitasking and when you want a more tablet-esque experience.

The Elegan 1 is Quad’s new entry-level bookshelf speakers, designed to bring the brand’s acclaimed hi-fi sound to a more accessible price. They have a two-way bass-reflex loudspeaker that pairs a 1-inch fabric-dome tweeter with a 6.4-inch woven Kevlar woofer for the bass and midrange. Quad says they’re designed to match and be paired with its recently released 3 Series components, such as the 33 preamplifier and 303 amplifier.

The Elegan 2 are the floorstanding speakers in Quad’s new entry-level Elegan range. They have a three-way design and feature the same 1-inch fabric-dome tweeter as the Elegan 1 bookshelf speakers, but add a second 6.4-inch woven Kevlar woofer and a dedicated midrange driver. According to the brand, the Elgan 3 is “engineered to reproduce music honestly, allowing every recording to breathe with space, realism and emotion.”

The Cayin CP6 is a modern, portable CD player with a rechargeable battery and built-in Bluetooth (and LDAC support). Positioned as a more premium option, the CP6 is equipped with Raytheon JAN6418 vacuum tubes, allowing users to switch between three listening (or timbre) modes. It features a high-resolution DAC, a Class A headphone amplifier and two headphone jacks: 3.5mm single-ended and 4.4mm balanced. This lets listeners use a wide range of wired headphones and tweak the audio to sound best.

Light Phone has been making “dump” phones for years. Designed to fight the addictive nature of today’s social media apps (and doomscrolling), these minimalist phones just have the bare necessities: phone, text, navigation, alarm and music. The Flip stays true to those ethos, but packages it in a nostalgic Motorola Razr-esque design. Yep, it’s the company’s first-ever flip phone. As for price, it comes bundled with a phone plan that starts at $39/month. And it will be available in six color finishes: black, red, yellow, pink, navy blue, and light gray. Expect it to start shipping in April 2027.

The Hyphn is Monitor Audio’s flagship floorstanding loudspeaker. Released in 2023, the British hi-fi maker has called it its “most creatively ambitious, technically advanced” loudspeaker ever. It costs $99,000. Since its release, it has been offered in three different finishes. Now, Monitor Audio has launched a program that allows the Hypen to be customized in more than 200 colors, available in gloss, matte, or metallic finishes. According to the brand, these new custom loudspeakers give “owners the freedom to choose a finish that sits perfectly in any interior listening environment.”

The Samsung Freestyle+ is the company’s newest smart projector for 2026, capable of delivering a 100-inch 1080p picture. It leverages advanced AI and sensory technology to automatically detect where the wall or screen is, calibrate the color and brightness to match the surface’s design, and project the best, largest picture for that area. Basically, it takes all the guesswork out of the setup process. It is a powered projector, but Samsung also offers the Freestyle Battery Base (sold separately) that lets you cut the cord and take it outdoors.

The Edifier MR4.5 is a set of powered studio monitors that sits between the range’s entry-level MR4 and flagship MR5. The speakers have a bi-amp design, meaning separate amplifiers power the 1-inch tweeter and the 4-inch mid-bass driver. The system outputs 80 watts of total power, with 30 watts going to each mid-bass driver and 10 watts to each tweeter. The main speaker features balanced XLR inputs for professional setups, as well as RCA, 3.5mm auxiliary jacks for more traditional desktop and hi-fi systems. There’s also a front-facing headphone jack for private listening sessions.
