This year, Spyderco celebrates its 50th anniversary. And it has already been a pretty monumental one, marked by thoughtful reinterpretations of brand classics, such as a rarified Native 5 sprint run, and new silhouettes, including the featherweight Charisma.

Truly, there’s never been a bad time to pick up a Spyderco EDC knife (or fixed-blade). But this year is shaping up to be pretty special, even by the brand’s standards.

Spyderco Manix 2 MagnaMax

The Manix 2 is one of Spyderco’s many beloved full-size everyday carry workhorses, designed by Eric Glesser and made in Golden, Colorado. Its 3.375-inch MagnaMax blade rides on a full flat grind for low-friction cutting. Spyderco’s patented Ball Bearing Lock delivers rock-solid, ambidextrous lockup, while textured G-10 scales and a reversible tip-up pocket clip make it equally at home in a work belt or a front pocket.
