Like clockwork, the turning of the seasons brings shifts in weather, wardrobes and, in Yeti Nation, colorways across the brand’s range of coolers, drinkware and more.

Already this year, Yeti has dropped a handful of new hues, including not one but two yellows, a bright purple inspired by the Great Barrier Reef and a spin on its cult camo.

Its latest move will see that number increase by the dozens.

Take one for the team

In collaboration with Fanatics, one of the premier distributors of licensed fan gear, Yeti just released close to 30 new colors in connection to teams across the NFL, NCAA, MLB and NHL.

While many of the teams listed on Yeti’s website simply have branded versions of existing colors — primarily black, white and stainless steel — 27 of them have custom ones you won’t find elsewhere on the site.

In the NCAA, the new hues are somewhat limited, but they include burnt orange for the Texas Longhorns, maize yellow for the Michigan Wolverines and red garnet for Florida State, among a handful of others.

NFL fans, meanwhile, have their pick of the litter, with the options ranging from aqua (Miami Dolphins) and Honolulu blue (Detroit Lions) to various green for the Eagles, Packers, Jets and more.

That said, perhaps the most notable addition is in the NHL section, where shoppers will find a unique blue attached to the Toronto Maple Leafs. Previously exclusive to Canada, the color is now available in the US the very first time.

Major-league prices

Of course, the colors all come with the caveat of carrying team logos, meaning the neutrals in the room might find value in picking up a sticker pack from one of the brand’s many retail locations — or finally finding use for the one that accompanies every Rambler purchase.

It’s also worth mentioning the price, as the licensed gear does indeed carry a premium over the standard versions of each item.

A normal 20-ounce tumbler costs $35 in one of Yeti’s core or seasonal colorways. However, it goes for $50 in one of the new team-affiliated variants.
