As is almost always the case, the new and upcoming bikes on GP’s radar lately span a wide range of categories, from adventure to retro street to electric to supermoto.

However, if one factor can unify a number of bikes in this baker’s dozen, it’s the fact they offer dimensions that welcome even the newest of riders to swing a leg over.

I feel pretty confident saying that, considering roughly half have engine sizes of less than 500cc, and only two top 1,000cc.

Check out the latest and greatest small to midsize wonders from Honda, Kawasaki, Suzuki, Harley-Davidson(!) and more below.

R12 nineT 46Works Complete Custom #02

Tucked away in Japan’s Yatsugatake Mountains, Shiro Nakajima’s 46Works can transform a stock motorcycle with just a few understated brush strokes. That skill is on display with this nine-unit run of R12 nineT makeovers, featuring a beguiling hue called 46 Blue, white lines snaking across the mini-fairing, contoured tank and single-seat cowl, low-profile TANAX 46 mirrors and a machined 46Works badge.
Blue and black Triumph Tiger 900 GT motorcycle with side and rear storage boxes.Triumph Motorcycles

2026 Triumph Tiger Sport 800 Tour

Building on a spirited 798cc triple engine, this bike ups the long-distance ante with a center stand, heated grips, hand guards, cushy backrest pads, an aluminum luggage rack with color-matched panniers and a 13-gallon top box with space for two helmets. Meanwhile, the bevy of rider-friendly tech includes three ride modes, ride-by-wire throttle and switchable traction control, plus Triumph Shift Assist, Optimized Cornering ABS and Optimized Cornering Traction Control.

2026 Kawasaki W175 LTD ABS

Like the W230 and W800, the (expectfully coming to America soon) W175 LTD derives its sweet retro styling inspiration from the W bikes Kawasaki made back in the 1960s. Shifted via a five-speed gearbox, the 177cc air-cooled SOHC two-valve single engine makes 13 horsepower at 7,500 rpm and peak torque of 9.6 lb-ft. at 6,000 rpm. In other words, I would not take it anywhere near the highway, but for city streets and maybe even two-lane twisties, it should provide enough pep and punch to match the curb appeal.

Mask Architects Solaris

For all of their benefits, electric bikes still have one of the same big downsides as traditional bikes: they need periodic refueling. Well, the Mask Architects’ Solaris still has that problem, but it solves another one: it can refuel virtually anywhere. This is because it has a pair of onboard, retractable solar panels that directly charge the battery, meaning you don’t have to travel to a charging station or have a generator or anything like that. And it still has many other electric benefits, like high-torque, low pollution and much more.
Red and black Honda CB125R motorcycle with black wheels and disc brakes on a white background.Honda

2026 Honda CB125R

This elusive entry-level street bike boasts four new hues for 2026, including two — Matt Pearl Diaspro Red and Zefiro Blue Metallic — that really pop. They only add to the approachable appeal of this small-bore beauty’s liquid-cooled single-cylinder 124.9cc engine, shifted via a 6-speed gearbox and making 14.5 horsepower at 10,000rpm and 8.5 lb-ft of torque at 8,000rpm. That helps make it perfect for learning to ride, zipping through crowded cities and parking just about anywhere while saving money in the process.
Blue and black Harley-Davidson X 440T motorcycle with black seat and dual rear shock absorbers on white background.Harley-Davidson

Harley-Davidson X440T

Produced through its partnership with Delhi-based two-wheeled giant Hero MotoCorp, the X440T is a styled-up version of another India-only Harley, the X440. The biggest distinction beyond fresh paint is the tail and seat unit, which gets a sculpted overhaul, highlighted by a seamless taper into the taillight. There are also chrome hits on the spokes and killer matte black touches on the round bar-end mirrors, crankcase cover and exhaust pipe. By all indications, the new bike gets the same power plant, a 440cc single-cylinder. That’s right, a Harley without a V-Twin, can you even believe it?
Blue adventure motorcycle with gold spoked wheels and knobby tires on a rear stand.Morbidelli

2026 Morbidelli T502XR

As the even more off-road-capable follow-up to last year’s T502X, the T502XR packs specs that could have Royal Enfield’s beloved Himalayan 450 breaking a sweat. The 486cc liquid-cooled twin-cylinder engine is unquestionably bigger than that bike’s 452cc liquid-cooled single cylinder. That instantly translates to more power and torque: 46 hp at 8,500 rpm (versus 40 hp at 8,000 rpm) and 33.1 lb-ft at 6,750 rpm (versus 29.5 lb-ft at 5,550 rpm). What’s perhaps even more impressive is that the T502XR posts these numbers while being just about as approachable as the Himmy is.
Red and black electric motorcycle with gold front forks and black seat on a white background.Famel

Famel E-XF

30 years after shuttering its doors, Portuguese moped brand Famel is back with a new offering in the form of the E-XF. Inspired by the brand’s XF-17 moped, it’ll be available in both ‘Classic’ and ‘Cafe Racer’ forms. While it’s far from a long-distance tourer with a 5.5 kW motor and only about 75 miles of max range, it does at least promise to be a perfect urban runabout. It brings a svelte 264-pound curb weight, a removable battery and USB connectivity and a top speed of 62 mph, so it can hang with city traffic no problem.
Blue and white Suzuki GSX-S1000GT sport touring motorcycle with black frame and blue rims on a white background.Suzuki Cycles

2026 Suzuki GSX-S1000GX+

This pinnacle bike offers the best of two iconic Suzuki platforms: the performance of the super-sporty Gixxer and the ergonomics of the adventure-ready V-Strom. The former emerges from the 999cc inline-four engine, which delivers inspiring mid-range performance ideal for sport touring. The latter owes to an aluminum twin-spar frame and optimized rider triangle that blends sportbike agility and long-distance comfort. The 2026 edition even adds a new wrinkle — small aerodynamic winglets intended to enhance stability.
Blue and black Suzuki DR-Z400SM motorcycle with black seat and silver exhaust on white background.Suzuki Cycles

2026 Suzuki DR-Z4SM

Like the DR-Z4SM, the successor to the iconic DR-Z400, this plussed-up variant boasts a snazzy supermoto silhouette and punchy 398cc single-cylinder engine, complemented by the Suzuki Intelligent Ride System (S.I.R.S.), complete with multiple ride and traction control options. What’s different is three factory-installed upgrades: knuckle guards, protective front and rear axle sliders and a surprisingly handy rear cargo rack.

Rough Crafts x GRS BMW R 12 nineT

Rough Crafts lays down the “best custom R 12 nineT” gauntlet with this bespoke build inspired by a custom-made safari-style vintage Porsche 911. Highlights include a wood-trimmed tank rack, stitched leather saddle, Rover Works paint scheme, a host of premium components and the most glorious high-mounted twin exhaust pipes you’ve ever seen.

Jawa 42 FJ

This bike is one of two chosen by Jawa for the century-old Czech-born, India-made moto brand’s return to Europe, and it’s no wonder. The 42 FJ boasts sleek neo-retro styling, complemented by a 334cc engine perfect for nifty city commuting and breezy rural rambling. A seat height of 31.1 inches and weight of 406 pounds ensure the bike itself is as approachable as it is affordable.
Dark blue Ural NEO motorcycle with sidecar and knobby tires on a light gray background.Ural Motorcycles

2026 Ural Neo

Long-known for its Russian roots, WWII-era styling and of course sidecars, Ural is bringing a new bike to the US in May of next year that flips the script. The Neo is derived from the SUV500 II, made by Yingang, Ural’s new China-based partner. While specs are not yet available, that hints it will pack something like the Chinese bike’s 452cc liquid-cooled parallel twin engine making 45.6 horsepower and 30.2 lb-ft of torque. It sure will look different than the retro-styled bikes of yore, what with its ADV-style fairing and windshield, plus a 7-inch TFT display and forward-facing dashcam. It is also expect to cost less, below $15,000.
