Last week, Sonos announced the Play, a new portable speaker with Wi-Fi and Bluetooth streaming capabilities that’s sized and priced between the $179 Roam 2 and $449 Move 2. It’s available now for preorder, with shipping at the end of this month.

Ahead of its release, Sonos is running a sale on its other portable speaker. You can pick up both the Roam 2 and Move 2 for 22-percent off right now. The deals are valid through March 29th (or while supplies last).

Additionally, Sonos is discounting certified refurbished versions of several of its other speakers, including the Era 100, Era 300 and Sonos Arc. So, if you’re cool with shopping refurbished, it’s your chance to snag a great deal on some of Sonos’s most popular speakers.

Note on certified refurbished speakers: Sonos claims that each one has been inspected, tested, and approved by its audio experts, and thus should sound and work as good as new. Plus, they come with the same one-year warranty as its new speakers.

Sonos Roam 2

Released in June 2024, the Roam 2 is Sonos’s ultra-portable speaker. It supports both Bluetooth and Wi-Fi connectivity, so you can use it as a traditional portable Bluetooth speaker or bring it inside and group it with your other Sonos multi-room speakers.

Released in late 2023, the Move 2 is an upgraded version of Sonos’s 2019-released Move. It’s pretty much the same size and works very similarly, but the Move 2 has improved sound, double the battery life (up to 24 hours) and supports USB-C line-in so that you can hook it up to an analog source such as a turntable or CD player.

Sonos Era 100 (Refurbished)

Released in early 2023, the Era 100 is an improved (and more expensive) version of the One speaker. It stands a little bit taller and has an extra tweeter to give it the ability to deliver a stereo sound (which the One was not able to do on its own). It has a 25 percent larger mid-woofer to help it deliver deeper bass, too.

Sonos Era 300 (Refurbished)

The Era 300 is a first-of-its-kind speaker for Sonos, specifically designed to play immersive audio that supports Dolby Atmos. It has six drivers: four tweeters (one forward-firing, two side-firing for stereo separation and an upward-firing tweeter that reflects sound off the ceiling) and two woofers. Compared to its closest sibling, the Five, the Era 300 is slightly smaller, cheaper and not quite as powerful.

Sonos Arc (Refurbished)

The Arc was Sonos’s premium Dolby Atmos soundbar before the Arc Ultra was released. It has a grand total of 11 high-performance drivers, two of which are upward-firing to enable those vertical high channels for Dolby Atmos. It also has smart speaker functionality (just like the Beam 2), so you can control it with your voice using Amazon Alexa or Google Assistant. It supports AirPlay 2 as well.
