The Mafate, Clifton and Bondi helped turn Hoka into a household name. But among hardcore runners, it’s the Mach series that gets the lion’s share of attention.

And rightly so.

Now in seventh generation, the Mach is something of a Swiss Army Knife in Hoka’s arsenal. It’s light, it’s quick, it’s comfortable and, most importantly, it’s cheap.

In other words, the Mach is a true workhorse built for any distance, every pace and all budgets.

And now it can even call itself a casual sneaker.

Sleek and streamlined

The Hoka Remastered is a new lifestyle version of Hoka’s fan-favorite trainer, retooled for life off the track.

Unlike the performance model, it features an upper comprised of thin ripstop fabric reinforced with a cage-like overlay for structure and visual emphasis.

There are also reflective laces and metal eyelets, both absent from the Mach 7.

That said, the Mach Remastered retains the series’s supercritical EVA foam for the midsole, while the thin microfiber tongue and monochromatic colorways reinforce the Mach’s sleek, streamlined reputation.

Availability and pricing

Available now, the Mach Remastered comes in a handful of color schemes at launch, including “Obsidian” and “Galactic Grey,” with more on the way in the coming months.
