Grand Seiko Evolution 9 Spring Drive U.F.A. SLGB006

Part of the Evolution 9 Collection, the Grand Seiko SLGB006 is a limited-edition timepiece housed in an 18K yellow-gold case. It runs on the Spring Drive U.F.A. Caliber 9RB2, delivering an annual accuracy rate of plus or minus 20 seconds. The jet-black dial features a pattern inspired by frost-covered forests in the Suwa region of Japan, accented by gold-colored specks that evoke the visual phenomenon of sun pillars on winter mornings. Limited to just 80 pieces, it comes fitted on a crocodile leather strap and offers 72 hours of power reserve and 100 meters of water resistance.

“The dial does what Grand Seiko dials do best: turn something simple into something you can’t stop looking at.”

The 39mm cushion-shaped case is crafted from Grade 5 titanium with a black DLC coating, paired with a satin-brushed ceramic bezel featuring mirror-polished chamfers. Inside, a new openworked movement is visible through the dial and sapphire caseback, giving the watch a more industrial, mechanical character than previous H08 models. At 11.69mm thick, it wears comfortably on the wrist thanks to the lightweight titanium construction and supple rubber strap. Available in two dial variations with blue or gray numerals.

IWC Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Ceralume

The Big Pilot’s Watch Perpetual Calendar Ceralume is a limited-edition release capped at 250 pieces. The 46.5mm case is crafted from IWC’s proprietary luminous ceramic, which absorbs light and emits a vivid blue glow in the dark. Inside, the in-house 52616 caliber drives a perpetual calendar that tracks date, day, month and moon phase, with a seven-day power reserve. A white rubber strap, also infused with luminous material, completes the package.

“The most remarkable thing about IWC’s insane lume monster may not be how brightly it glows in the dark but how good it looks in the light.”

A COSC-certified movement and TAG Heuer’s TH-Carbonspring oscillator round out a serious package for watch enthusiasts who appreciate engineering-driven design.
