AVI-8 Hawker Hunter AV-4052
Save 25%: AVI-8’s Hawker Hunter AV-4052 brings the look of the iconic Hawker Hunter fighter jet to your wrist with a dashboard-inspired design. The squared-off case design echoes the Hunter’s cockpit instruments, while the dial itself is comprised of carefully laid-out indentations, tension rings and sub-dials, continuing the military motif. This mecha-quartz chronograph timepiece is already a great deal coming in well under $300, but use the code GEAR25 at checkout for an additional 25% off.
Samsung T5 Portable SSD Drive
Save $50: The Samsung T5 (Gen 2) is one of the best portable hard drives you can buy. Released in July 2017, it’s been praised for its compact and drop-proof design, as well as its transfer speeds (up to 540 MB/s), which are up to 4.9x faster than what most external HDDs can accomplish. And since the T5 utilizes a USB Type-C port, it’s the perfect partner for a new-age desktop or laptop setup. If there’s a knock against the T5, however, it’s the price — but that’s been slashed. You can get the T5 (500GB) for $150, which is $50 off its normal retail price. It’s available at both Best Buy and Amazon at this reduced price. — Tucker Bowe
Save $20: Travel is a contradictory experience. It’s impossible to suppress the yearning to explore and yet uprooting oneself from the comforts of home can feel unnatural. One of the best ways to combat that peculiar unease felt between points A and B is to make travel as trouble-free as possible, and for many, that starts with luggage.
Away reimagines what a suitcase can be, and although its four-wheeled, hard-shelled travel companions may look like your average carry-on, they’re not. TSA-approved locks and USB charging ports are built into Away suitcases, and their interiors are designed with separate compartments for clothing and additional items like shoes and toiletries. On the outside: an unbreakable (and colorful, if you so choose) shell. Away does it all without a big markup because it cuts out the retailer middlemen and sells its bags directly to travelers — buy one today and save an extra $20 by entering the code WINTERAWAY at checkout. Note: This deal ends Friday, December 15. — Tanner Bowden

GoPro HERO5 and HERO6 Cameras
Save up to $100: Action cameras have become ubiquitous from ski slopes to hiking trails to city centers — it seems as though everybody has one. But that hasn’t stopped GoPro from continually upping the ante on a yearly basis. Earlier this year it released its latest action camera, the HERO6 Black, and promised performance increases across the board — GoPro claims two times the performance — over its older (just over a year older) brother, the HERO5 Black.
The main improvements in the HERO6 come thanks to its new guts, the GP1 chip, which allows it to record faster framerates at higher resolutions. What does that really mean? Better-looking slow-motion footage, for starters. The camera can also be awakened with voice controls and comes with quick video editing software built-in.
There’s no doubt that the HERO6 is a great action camera, especially when it’s marked down by $50. But let’s remember that its predecessor was considered best-in-class just one year ago — it’s still waterproof, features voice and LCD touchscreen controls and it still packs more power than the everyday user will likely take advantage of. If you’re considering picking up either camera this holiday season, know that right now, the older HERO5 is two times better in one aspect — it’s $100 off. — Tanner Bowden
Patagonia Nano Air Jacket
Save $50: When it launched back in 2014, Patagonia’s Nano Air was the most revolutionary insulated jacket to hit the market. It features Patagonia’s FullRange insulation that promises to breathe and let hot air escape — perfect for aerobic activities like hiking and ski touring. The Nano Air is still among the top active insulation jackets on the market today. Right now at Backcountry, you can score one for 20% off. Ditch your old down jacket and upgrade to the latest in insulating tech. — AJ Powell
The details matter, especially in everyday items. That’s why we chose to make our first-ever, (very) limited-edition Gear Patrol t-shirt in America, from a tri-blend of poly, cotton and rayon. It’s comfortable, moves well and boasts a slimmer fit. The logo is also screen printed with a premium, water-based ink.
The result is a traditional crew neck that looks good and works well in the gym, on the commute or just exploring over the weekend. And because nothing beats the feel of a fresh tee, we ship every shirt in a poly bag so that you’re the first to touch it.
