Break your iPhone and don’t want to spend big on a new one? No problem. You can get pretty good on a slightly older model. For example, eBay is selling unlocked iPhone 7s for under $200 (here). It’s a manufacturer refurbished model, granted, but if you have any issues eBay has a “free 30 day return” policy.
As a point of reference, Apple currently sells new iPhone 7s starting at $449 (here); if you trade in an old iPhone, you can potentially get new one for as low as $299. Also, Apple sells these same unlocked refurbished iPhone 7s for $379 (here), meaning this eBay deal is saving you a decent chuck of coin. Better yet, Apple’s upcoming iOS 13 supports both the 7 and the older 6s, which means that even an aging iPhone 7 is likely to keep getting the latest software updates for at least two more years.
