WWII-Inspired Bulova Hack Watch
Save 36% Bulova created this watch, a 38mm quartz model on an unadorned leather strap, in homage to the timepieces of that era and the soldiers they served; this model is more accurate than any hand-winding watch from the 1930s or 40s (and likely more shock- and water-resistant to boot). And today it’s a whopping 36 percent off MSRP, making for great deal on a classic, simple watch that’s awfully hard not to love. — Andy Frakes
Kershaw Chive Pocket Knife
Save 33%: Tiny pocket knives have proven over and again that in everyday scenarios, size doesn’t count for everything. Kershaw’s Chive demonstrates the point perfectly. The Chive the smallest in a line of veggie-themed blades designed by renowned knifemaker Ken Onion; the biggest of the group is the Leek with a three-inch blade, and then there’s the middle child Scallion at 2.4 inches. Kershaw knocks another half inch off to bring the Chive’s blade down to 1.9 inches.
Over time, Kershaw has released the Chive in various builds, but right now a version with a Damascus steel blade is on sale at Massdrop for 33 percent off. — Tanner Bowden
Apple HomePod (Refurbished)
Save $64: A few weeks ago, we ran a pretty awesome HomePod deal: Best Buy was selling Apple’s $350 smart speaker for just $280, so $70 off. Today, however, you can purchase a HomePod for even cheaper. Woot is running a deal on refurbished HomePods for $234, which is way cheaper ($64 cheaper to be exact) than Apple is selling those same refurbished speakers. If you’re an Apple Music subscriber and have been jonesing for Apple’s smart speaker, this is the cheapest we’ve seen the HomePod going for. Both white and space gray models are available.
Also, if you’re worried about shopping for refurbished HomePods, rest easy. Woot has a 90-day return policy, so you can send it back if there are any issues at all.
Two Great Coffee Makers
Save Up to 42% If you’re in the market for a new coffee maker — no matter how into or not into coffee you are — there’s a good chance the perfect one is on sale today. Hamilton Beach’s ultra-affordable option comes with a recommendation from the gear nerds at the Wirecutter. It has programmable brew timing, a detachable water reservoir and an absurdly low price tag of $29. For some context, this is the coffee maker to get if you view coffee as a means of waking up.
For those playing with the idea of getting into specialty coffee, look toward Bonavita’s SCA-certified brewer — the compact BV1500TS. Thanks to a showerhead water drip, precise temperature control and a pre-infusion mode, it’s one of those best coffee makers you can buy. The 5-cup model — which is the smaller version of the dollar-for-dollar best coffee maker you can buy — is marked down from $140 to just $80 today. —Will Price
