A few months ago, Crocs launched one of its coziest takes on its iconic footwear ever, the Unfurgettable Clog. This style took the base shoe and wrapped it, tip to tail, in faux fur, crafting an incredibly comfy and indulgent campground-ready slipper.

Well, the brand has taken the next logical step, applying the same ethos to a different, more convenient and even easier-wearing silhouette. Meet the Crocs Classic Unfurgettable Camo Slide.

I know it’s hard to tell because of the camo, but I promise there’s a Crocs slide in this image.

Slide into comfort

As its name suggests, this shoe isn’t a clog. Rather, it’s a classic slide sandal — meaning it features a single band that spans the widest part of the foot, is open-toed and lacks a heel.

There are some drawbacks to this style, compared to a more classic closed-toe clog, as Crocs typically offers. However, there are also some significant benefits.

For starters, these are even easier to slip on and off. That also increases their overall convenience. You don’t have to worry about fiddling with the back strap; you can just step in and be on your way.

The fuzziness isn’t just on the outside; the footbed has a faux-fur lining, as well.

But there’s another benefit: the band across the top is adjustable. That means you can set them up to your ideal fit, but you can also loosen them when necessary, like if you’re usually barefoot but it gets too cold, and you want to wear them with thicker winter-ready socks.

It’s a simple feature, but it can make a world of difference, especially since the lack of a closed toe and open heel means they’re not as warm as an all-around shoe would be.

What a Croc!

On the upside, these are undoubtedly warmer than any standard slide would be. Yes, that’s partially because of the all-around exterior faux fur with its classic camo colorway.

However, the footbed and the interior of the top strap, despite lacking a camo pattern, are also lined with thick-pile faux fur, offering a bit of warmth and a whole lot of comfort.

The sandal is still built on a lightweight, supportive Croslite foam outsole.

There are some other excellent details, as well. For instance, the outsole is still made from lightweight, durable, easy-to-clean Croslite foam — the brand’s signature material that graces nearly all its offerings.

Furthermore, that strap has a little grab tab that, while handy for adjusting the fit, also features Crocs’ iconic perforations. For those in the know, yes, that also means they’re compatible with Jibbitz charms for a little added customization.
