Ugg has a certain je ne sais quoi that has allowed the comfort-focused footwear brand to maintain cultural relevance, despite the constantly shifting tides of consumer preferences and trends.

While the brand’s iconic sheepskin slippers give an air of laid-back cool (or so-ugly-it’s-cool energy, depending on your perspective), Ugg recently released a refined clog that practically anyone could wear with pride.

Ugg life

The Otzo Clog is a streamlined, sleek alternative to Ugg’s classic Tasman Slipper, which is well known for its lightweight yet ultra-cozy feel.

The new clog, which comes in three earthy colorways (Dark Chestnut, Burnt Olive and Black) maintains the all-day comfort of Ugg’s other shoes but brings a new vibe to the table.

The premium, waterproof nubuck leather upper is a classier alternative to the standard Ugg playbook, particularly in the black version.

The lining is made with a blend of leather and responsibly-sourced wool jersey lining, complete with a peppermint-based anti-odor treatment, that is also applied to the microfiber sockliner cover.

The clog retains the EVA contoured footbed and lightweight rubber outsole present on many Ugg silhouettes, guaranteeing this classy clog will be as comfortable as its more casual compatriots are.

Availability and pricing

The Otzo Clog is available now on Ugg’s website, retailing for $150.
