Founded by master designers Jesper Voxnaes and Jens Ansø, GiantMouse is one of the best names in knifemaking today. While I wouldn’t deign to tell GM how to design, develop and produce its top-notch cutting tools, it does appear that an outside perspective can make for a bountiful harvest.
At least, that’s what I’ve gathered from the brand’s latest collaboration — a team-up with a mainstay of the Detroit design scene. But don’t take my word for it; see for yourself how the Shinola x GiantMouse Brass Perlage Knife takes one of GM’s best designs and makes it even better.

Bleecker sweet
It’s a bold, perhaps audacious claim to suggest that GiantMouse needs help from anyone to make a good knife better, but I do believe it in this case. That said, it doesn’t hurt to have an excellent base model to start with.
This knife is a reinterpretation of the GiantMouse Bleecker, perhaps the brand’s best take on a gentleman’s folder. As such, it shares much in common with its existing siblings.
