It’s only February but Yeti’s on the front foot.

Already this year, the brand has introduced a handful of new colors, a batch of budget-friendly soft coolers and its first-ever technical hiking pack following the acquisition of Mystery Ranch.

But after it’s all said and done, it’s Yeti’s latest drop that could go down as one of its superlative releases — or, at the very least, its most popular.

Ramble on

Without notice, the brand quietly listed a new 35-ounce Rambler Straw Mug on its website, replacing a former mainstay of the catalog.

For fans of the tumbler, rest assured: the overall form factor of the previous version remains more or less intact.

Yeti’s answer to the Stanley Quencher still features dishwasher-safe stainless steel, with double-wall vacuum insulation to keep drinks cold for hours on end. It also comes with a BPA-free, shatter-resistant lid and straw.

Only now, it has a handle that actually stands up to the competition.

The new-and-improved Straw Mug comes with the same welded handle introduced on last year’s Travel Straw Mug (named as one of Gear Patrol‘s top releases of 2025).

Thicker and rounder than the previous handle, the updated design brings improved comfort and utility to one of Yeti’s stalwart items, catering to longtime fans and newcomers, alike.

It’s not the first time Yeti’s revisited the form factor of a best seller, although instances have become increasingly rare as the brand expands into new categories.

Perhaps the most notable example in recent memory came last year, when the brand added a much-needed drain plug to the Roadie 24 cooler.

According to an exclusive source, only the 35-ounce Straw Mug is on track to receive the new handle, despite Yeti also selling a 42-ounce version.
