Yeti launched with a single product, in a single color: a stark white cooler stout enough to keep out grizzly bears.

Its last drop of 2025 — a year that saw the release of multiple bags, its first beach chair and a grill — shows just how far it’s come.

The truth is, Yeti is no longer a cooler company, at least according to the sales.

While coolers remain at the heart of its reputation for ultradurable outdoor gear, Yeti has become a bona fide lifestyle brand driven by a dominant drinkware lineup.

In fact, for every dollar Yeti makes, half of it comes from bottles, tumblers and coffee mugs, available in any color the heart desires.

Even still, the latest hue is one-of-a-kind.

A first for the brand

Dubbed “Solar Flare,” the new color closes out this year’s Gear Garage as Yeti’s first-ever neon colorway.

“Solar Flare” is part of Yeti’s annual Gear Garage sale, meaning it’s more limited than its seasonal drops.

That said, it’s far from the only orange. “Solar Flare” closely resembles “Papaya,” which came out of the summer, as well as the fan-favorite “King Crab Orange.”

“King Crab Orange” became one of Yeti’s core colorways earlier this year.

The latter, first released as a limited-edition color, officially became part of the brand’s year-round collection in 2025.

It’s unlikely that “Solar Flare” will follow a similar path, even though its high-vis look is sure to be a hit among campers, construction workers and, least of all, collectors.

As part of the Gear Garage collection, the current batch is likely even more limited than Yeti’s seasonal drops.

That said, there appears to be more than enough to go around. Yeti added the color to various bottles, tumblers and even its dog bowl, which comes in two sizes.

Prices start at $25.
