Even at full price, the C1ty is one hell of a bargain.
Released in 2024, shortly after Nike paused its collaboration with the artist Tom Sachs, the model followed in the footsteps of the pair’s lauded General Purpose Shoe.
The two designs share a chunky waffle outsole, microfiber ankle collar, molded-cup midsole and mesh overlays.

But perhaps the most telling sign of Nike’s inspiration with the C1ty resides in the utilitarian colorways, such as “Surplus”, which borrows its olive drab getup from the tactical supply stores in New York City and other major metropolises.
