The Killshot 2 is everywhere.

It popped up on Netflix, courtesy of Nobody Wants This star Adam Brody. Then again on the feet of Josh O’Connor in Challengers.

But while design may be borderline ubiquitous, no one can take away its pedigree as a former grail.

When it existed as a J.Crew exclusive in the early 2010s, the Killshot 2 crashed websites, sparked release-day lines and commanded sky-high markups on the secondary market.

Game, set, price match

One of the standouts in Nike’s massive summer sale, the Killshot 2 is going for as low as $54 (a 46 percent discount on the $100 sticker price).

For what it’s worth, the biggest savings pertain to colorways, such as “Black Phantom” and “Dark Russet,” that were already discounted coming into the sale.

However, a design-wide promotion takes at least 20 percent off signature color combinations including “Sail Midnight Navy” and simple black and white.

Most pairs of course feature a two-leather upper with suede accents around the toe box, vamp and heel, as well as a familar gum sole that harkens back to the heyday of ’70s-era tennis shoes.
