At $690 the Recon Bag doesn’t come cheap, but thanks to highly technical fabrics and multiple carry options, it’s built to go the distance and justify that price tag.

The modular new bag is built with Porter’s 100-percent plant-based nylon, a combination of biomass nylon twill and nylon taffeta lining, in the brand’s Coyote colorway, which is military-inspired while remaining elevated enough for everyday.

The Recon Bag is a modular, B4-sized briefcase that can be carried two ways: by the hand, similar to traditional briefcases, or as a backpack.

The clamshell zipper opens the bag wide, and front pockets add versatile storage options.
