It was only two days ago that Apple announced its newest iPhones, but the charging cases are already in the works. Mophie, which is becoming more and more deeply integrated with Apple and its stores, has announced that wirelessly charging “juice packs” for the iPhone 11, 11 Pro, and 11 Pro Max, that have an appropriate cutout for the phones’ new square camera module, will be available in October. The packs, which sport a 2,000mAh boost for the 11 and 11 Pro models, and a 2,200mAh boost for the 11 Pro Max, still allow for access to the phone’s Lightning Port thanks to their wireless charging design.
While a battery boost is usually a no-brainer, it is worth noting that Apple is promising big battery gains for its new models, specifically an additional hour of battery life with the iPhone 11, and an addition four and five hours for the 11 Pro and 11 Pro Max respectively. But if you’d rather play safe than sorry, Mophie’s new cases will be available next month for $100 a piece.
