I work on a laptop every day. Granted it’s hooked up to an Apple Cinema Display and an Apple Keyboard, but I purposely got the new Apple Keyboard that emulates the keys found in the newer MacBooks and MacBook Air (which for sake of disclosure is the laptop I work on).
I use used a 4th generation iPod. It was glorious with it’s 20 gigabyte hard drive, paper weight styling and ability to be dropped onto concrete with fear not for the device but for the ground it landed upon.
Not long ago Nokia announced the N810 Tablet, a personal tablet device with a 4″ screen, wi-fi, camera, GPS and 2GB of built-in storage with expansion up to 10GB through an SD-card. The Linux powered device was an interesting proposition because it basically allowed for infinite development through it’s open source operating system.
I’ve got at least three or four 96 disc Case Logic cases sitting around in my car at any given time and frankly the thought of ripping them all to iTunes and putting them on my iPod sounds like far more effort than I have time for.
