Another week down, and, per usual, a bunch of new tech and gadgets have been announced.

This past week, Marantz released a new entry-level CD player, Skullcandy teamed up with Bose on its latest noise-canceling headphones, and McIntosh unleashed a flagship AV processor for home theater enthusiasts. But that’s just scratching the surface.

Below, we’ve rounded up all the most interesting new releases and announcements you might have missed from the past week.

Marantz CD 70

The Marantz CD 70 is the brand’s new entry-level CD player. It’s the direct successor to the CD6007, which was released in 2020. The new model features a textured finish similar to the brand’s flagship audio components. Under the hood, the CD 70 features an upgraded DAC and the brand’s proprietary HDAM circuit design. The company claims “the CD 70 delivers detailed, expressive and emotionally engaging reproduction of compact discs, extracting every nuance from treasured music collections.”

Marshall 1959BJA Artist Signature

The Marshall 1959 is a legendary 100-watt guitar amplifier head that was first introduced in the mid-1960s. The 1959BJA is a special and modernized version of the 1959 amp that Marshall created with Billie Joe Armstrong, Green Day’s iconic frontman. It’s the first artists signature amp that Marshall has released in 14 years. It features a striking baby-blue finish with brass and silver panel details, paying tribute to Billie’s first guitar, Blue. The 1959BJA is being released as a head-only unit, allowing players to pair it with the cabinet of their choice. It will be available starting July 21, 2026.

Tiny Vinyl Player

Tiny Vinyl has introduced an all-in-one record player, called the Player, that’s specifically designed to play the brand’s four-inch vinyl records, which have become incredibly popular in the last year or more (most of today’s biggest artists now release Tiny Vinyl records). The Player is about the size of a shoebox and has a built-in speaker. Additionally, Tiny Vinyl has released separate accessories, a miniature vinyl storage cubby that rests under the Player, and a picture frame that shows off the albums, to build out your tiny vinyl system.

McIntosh MX124

The McIntosh MX124 is the brand’s new flagship AV processor. It can handle a 13.4-channel home theater system with 13 speakers positioned around the room and up to 4 subwoofers. For those with ceiling (or height) speakers, it can power a 7.4.6- or 9.4.4-channel system, too. According to the brand, it’s designed to “be the center of a modern luxury cinema system, bringing together performance, flexibility, and longevity in a single reference platform.”

Skullcandy Crusher 1080 ANC

Skullcandy teamed up with Bose to create its newest noise-canceling wireless headphones. And the Crusher 1080 ANC packs a lot of Bose’s technologies into them. Most notably, they are the first non-Bose headphones to feature its QuietControl adaptive ANC technology. They also feature Bose’s TrueSpatial spatial audio technology and run on Bose’s WaveForm Audio Engine. So, they should offer similar sound quality and elite noise-canceling capabilities to Bose’s wireless headphones. On the Skullcandy side, they pack the brand’s patented bass-boosting Crusher technology. The headphones cost $280, making them way more affordable than other brands’ flagship noise-canceling cans. Available in four colors: black, candy (pink), primer (light brown) and cement (light grey).

Satechi MacBook Neo Collection

Satechi’s MacBook Neo Collection is a series of accessories that are specifically designed to work with and match Apple’s most entry-level laptop, the MacBook Neo. There are three accessories in the collection, which include two USB-C hubs: the OntheGo 5-in-1 Multiport Adapter ($45) and the USB-C Snap Hub ($45). And there’s Satechi’s Slim EX wireless mouse ($30). All three accessories come in the same colorful four finishes as the MacBook Neo: Citrus, Blush, Indigo and Silver.

We Are Rewind WE-001 (Pink Floyd Edition)

The WE-001 is a modern Walkman. It’s a portable cassette tape player with a premium build and new-age features, like a rechargeable battery and built-in Bluetooth (so you can use your wireless headphones). Now, We Are Rewind has released a special edition version that pays homage to Pink Floyd and their legendary The Dark Side of the Moon album, which was released in 1973 and is one of the most popular cassette tape releases of all time. Notably, this edition comes with a remastered 50th anniversary cassette tape of the album that, according to the brand, “restores the full sonic richness of a timeless masterpiece.”

Sony IER-M500

The Sony IER-M500 is brand’s new entry-level pair of wired in-ear monitors. According to the brand, they’re “the perfect partner for amateur, emerging, and professional musicians, performers, and monitor engineers who require reliable and accurate in-ear monitoring for live performances and practices.” Sony is offering them in three transparent color options. Black and clear are the most straightforward options, while the red/blue option has the two earbuds in different colors.
