The DT 275 Pro is a pair of closed-back, on-ear wired headphones that are designed for audio professionals working in loud environments, such as engineers, content creators and DJs.

Beyerdynamic claims that the DT 275 Pro headphones combine “high passive noise isolation, neutral sound tuning, and long-wearing comfort in a lightweight, travel-friendly design.”

Class-leading, passive isolation

As a category, on-ear headphones aren’t particularly well known for their passive noise-cancellation. Ambient sounds tend to seep in much more easily than, say, over-ear headphones, which envelop the entire ear.

However, the DT 275 Pro are able to up to 22 dBA of passive noise attenuation. Beyerdynamic claims this is “best in class” for closed-back, on-ear headphones.

As for sound, the DT 275 headphones have custom 40mm dynamic drivers that are designed to deliver a balanced, deliberately neutral sound that, according to the brand, “supports honest signal assessment without coloration, even at high volume levels.”

The headphones have a low impedance, at 45 ohms, making them easy to drive and compatible with a wide range of sources.

Optimized for comfort, flexbility

Additionally, Beyerdynamic gave the DT 275 several other features that optimize comfort and flexibility. For example, they have rotatable earcups and soft earpads to create a reliable acoustic seal.

And the cable can be connected to either the left or right earcup, allowing the wearer to quickly adapt to different situations or just change for comfort. Also, the cable has a special locking mechanism (that uses a secure bayonet connection) to prevent it from getting disconnected.
