It would be painfully obvious to explain the popularity of Crocs — their omnipresence says enough.

But even within the brand’s endlessly recognizable lineup, a new rendition of the classic clog has managed to stand out.

The new vegan suede, winter-ready Classic Crafted Clog is a toasty, cozy update to the brand’s famously breathable rubber shoe, and it went viral this month (along with the brand’s Unfurgettable model) thanks to TikTok — particularly in the “Milk Chocolate” colorway.

However, there’s a lesser-known, military-inspired version of the clog flying under the radar — and if you’re looking on Crocs’ official website, you won’t find it.

Step softly

To find the Classic Crafted Vegan Suede Clog in “Army Green,” a military-inspired tonal take on the All-Terrain Clog, you’ll have to visit Huckberry’s online store.

There, you’ll find the new shoe in its most utilitarian colorway, available in men’s sizing.

Aside from the updated color, the brand-new release features a suede-like, pebbled upper. The 100-percent textile material adds tons of coziness, without the upkeep of traditional suede.

The Classic Crafted Vegan Suede Clog also features rugged, lugged Croslite outsoles, built to increase traction and support, which makes these even more winter-ready.

Alongside that outsole, there’s also an adjustable, padded turbo heel strap for increased comfort, a metallic Crocs rivet that adds a premium touch and fully molded uppers for an enhanced fit.

Availability and pricing

Huckberry’s colorway isn’t just an unexpected alternative to what Crocs is selling on its own site; it’s also more affordable at the men’s online shop, retailing for $65, where the standard version is $69.

However, Huckberry’s size run is much more limited than Crocs’, so if you like the Army Green colorway, I’d act fast before they’re gone.
