Here’s a sad story you’ve heard before: Respected overseas company makes cool RV. Said RV never makes it to America.

Fortunately, the one about ARB’s Earth Camper isn’t that kind of tale.

First unveiled in 2023, the ultrarugged pod-like camper was the first RV offering from Australia’s longstanding overlanding pioneer, ARB.

And while American overlanders to date have had to admire it from afar, they may soon get their chance to drive this thing on, and off, US roads.

Now, the company has partnered with Xgrid Campers in Las Vegas to bring the Earth Camper to the US, and it’s even tweaked for hotter climates.

For example, there’s a new rooftop AC unit, as well a 100Ah lithium battery (expandable up to 300 Ah) for extra-long hauls.

It should be noted that while the inside is spacious, able to accommodate a queen-sized mattress, there’s no bathroom. That said, buyers can add on a Joolca Hottap shower system, but they’re on their own in terms of a toilet.
