Yeti Finally Brings Back Its Legendary Tundra Cooler in Tactical Army Green

The company reaches into its back catalog to reissue a coveted color across product lines, Tundra included.

Out with the old, in with the newish.

On the heels of discounting its “Venom” green collection, signaling the end of the road for the high-visibility hue, Yeti reaches into old catalogs to reissue yet another green as its replacement. And it might look familiar to early fans of the brand.

After years of absence from the hard cooler lineup, “Olive” returns as part of a new minimalist collection that spans multiple product lines, Tundra included.

Olive branch

These days, Yeti is known for its colorful coolers, water bottles and all manner of outdoor gear. But that wasn’t always the case.

Early Yeti gear was limited to a small handful of hues, including white, tan and navy blue, with “Olive” being one of the first to emerge beyond those inaugural treatments.

In a way, that makes “Olive” more of a heritage reissue than a seasonal experiment, as evidenced by a critical detail on the product pages for at least the Tundra coolers and insulated Daytrip boxes: it’s listed as a so-called “Core Color,” meaning it’s here for the long haul.

The new “Olive” collection also includes the Loadout GoBox1, large-format Rambler jugs and Yeti’s near-indestructible five-gallon bucket. However, those product pages list “Olive” as a limited-edition “Seasonal Color.”

Not the first “Olive” of 2026

This is actually Yeti’s second olive-green push in 2026.

Earlier this summer, the brand launched the “Open Country” and “Upland Birds” collections, both built on an olive-green base with “King Crab Orange” accents.

That pairing was purpose-built for hunters who need to stand out in the field, hence the high-visibility accents.

But the new “Olive” takes a different approach, stripping the palette back for a minimalist everyday aesthetic that slots seamlessly into camping and tailgating kits.
