Few features showcase the craftsmanship and attention to detail of watchmaking quite like an enamel dial. And to celebrate 175 years of watchmaking in Glashütte, NOMOS has updated one of its classic timepieces with an enamel touch. To craft the dials of the new Ludwig 38 and Ludwig 33 duo, NOMOS uses a high-gloss lacquer to coat the dials in several layers. After the application of each layer, the dial is polished before the next layer is applied. The result is a light transparency in the surface of the dial, which resembles enamel. This not only keeps the cost down, but delivers a beautifully refined watch face. On top of the attention to detail, NOMOS also catered to wearers with smaller wrists, offering a version with 33mm case diameter. Both the Ludwig 38 and 33 duo feature the classic, manually wound Alpha caliber from NOMOS Glashütte, which is highly precise and only needs to be wound every two days. If you're shopping for a special someone this holiday season, or looking to treat yourself with a new timepiece, look no further. And if you'd rather pay for your timepiece over time, NOMOS offers an installment payment option through Splitit. You can spread the payment of any NOMOS watch over two to twelve installments — interest free.
